Running to Fight Cancer
Owings Brothers help fight cancer by sponsoring Zaching Against Cancer’s fundraising event Zaching Running Festival held at Turf Valley Resort in Howard County on November 17, 2018. This year not only did we sponsor as a corporation but Joseph Smith personally got involved and ran the 5K along with his daughter Samantha. This charitable event honors a brave young man, Zachary Lederer, who lost his fight against cancer in 2014 at the age of 20. More here. Since that time Zaching Against Cancer has raised awareness, as well as, funds to continue cancer research.
